Contemporary mountain dwelling

This contemporary mountain dwelling was designed in 2016 by Carney Logan Burke Architects, set on an eight-acre site in the rugged western Montana landscape. The architects are based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, designing custom homes for over two decades. When designing a mountain home, the design team focuses on forward-thinking design and refined details.
They prefer to collaborate with their clients on the process to ensure the best end results. With client involvement, the design can be tailored to meet their lifestyle requirements. The architects also, as can be seen in this project, like to meld their homes into the landscape. Designing with vernacular architecture and a strong philosophy of “inspired by place”.
