This LEED Platinum residence was designed for an artist by Andrew Mann Architecture in collaboration with Sherry Williamson Design, located in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. The project included a complete interior and exterior renovation, inspired by the simplicity of New England colonial architecture. The property features clean lines and eco-friendly design features throughout.
The scope of this project entailed opening the interior layout to create bright and airy living spaces. The architects also raised the flat ceilings with custom-designed steel tension trusses. While the interior designer selected an understated finish palette that runs throughout this three-story dwelling. This quiet backdrop is complemented by custom designed built-ins for storage and functionality, mid-century furnishings, vintage lighting and antique Laver Kirman rugs.
