Recreation House

Utrecht-based architectural practice Zecc Architecten has designed the Recreation House project. Completed in 2014, the modern home is located in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
According to the architects: “In the rural area north of Utrecht a compact recreation house has been designed. The modern house is constructed in wood and opens its façade with window shutters towards the garden. The design has been realised by a special collaboration between Zecc and interior designer Roel van Norel. Zecc designed the basic concept of the house and Roel van Norel developed the plan all the way into the smallest detail and also built the house together with a contractor.
